At the end of 2024, a drilling company in a certain area of the Philippines, which had been facing the challenges of seasonal droughts and shortage of clean water for a long period of time, finally chose to purchase the UY200 fully hydraulic water well drilling rig manufactured by our company through a variety of investigations, and successfully fulfilled the demand for efficient and fast drilling of wells to provide stable and high-quality underground water source for more than 5000 residents.
To meet the customer’s special needs, our technical team tailored a technical solution:
Power upgrade: equipped with a 132kW turbocharged diesel engine, the torque output is increased to 4800N-m, ensuring the efficiency of ground penetration
Intelligent control: the integrated hydraulic control system realizes the precise adjustment of drilling pressure, rotational speed, and feed rate
Drilling tool optimization: double-layer alloy composite drill bit is used together with a 3-metre-long auger rod
Modularisation Modular design: the equipment can be disassembled and transported in a standard container to adapt to the operating environment in remote areas
Actual construction performance
During the 12-day field operation, the UY200 water well drilling rig demonstrated excellent performance:
Average daily footage of 18.5m, with the highest single-day record of 23m
Only 2 sets of drill bits were consumed to complete the target depth of 200m
Mud circulation system maintains a 97% debris removal rate
Fully electronically-controlled platform reduces the labour intensity of the drilling process by 50%. Labour intensity reduced by 50%
