In the summer, the temperature is high. The blasting drill is prone to overheating and aging of lubricants when working under high load and high temperature, which affects the working efficiency and life of the equipment. As a professional operator, the following are some key measures for maintaining the blasting drill in summer:

Check the cooling system regularly

The role of the cooling system is particularly important in hot weather. Check the level and quality of the coolant regularly to ensure that there is no leakage in the cooling system. Check whether the cooling fan is operating normally to ensure smooth air circulation and avoid overheating.

Coolant replacement: According to the frequency of use of the drilling rig and the equipment manual, replace the coolant regularly to avoid aging or insufficient liquid.

Radiator cleaning: Keep the radiator clean to ensure that air can circulate freely.

Lubrication system inspection

High temperature will accelerate the oxidation and deterioration of the lubricant, so the quality of the lubricant needs to be paid special attention to in summer. Check the level and quality of the lubricant regularly to ensure the normal operation of the lubrication system.

Lubricant replacement: According to the equipment manual, replace the lubricant regularly. Different seasons may require lubricants of different viscosities. In summer, you can choose oils suitable for high temperature environments.

Lubricant filling: Ensure that the lubricants in each moving part of the drilling rig are sufficient to avoid excessive friction and part wear.

Air filter and fuel system inspection

The ambient temperature is high in summer, and dust and particles in the air can easily enter the air filter, affecting the normal operation of the engine. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check and clean or replace the air filter.

Air filter cleaning: Clean the filter element to ensure that it is not blocked by dust or oil, and maintain good air permeability.

Fuel system inspection: Check whether the fuel system is normal, ensure that the fuel is clean and the filter is not blocked to avoid engine problems.

Check the hydraulic system

The hydraulic system is one of the core components of the drilling rig. High temperatures in summer may cause the hydraulic oil to deteriorate or the system working pressure to be abnormal. Therefore, the operator needs to regularly check the quality of the hydraulic oil, the liquid level, and whether the oil pipe is leaking.

Hydraulic oil replacement: Replace or replenish the hydraulic oil to maintain the efficient operation of the hydraulic system.

Hydraulic filter replacement: If the filter element in the hydraulic system is clogged, it should be replaced in time.

Regularly check the battery and electrical system

High temperatures in summer can easily cause battery aging or capacity reduction. Check the electrolyte level of the battery and keep the electrodes clean to avoid incomplete battery charging.

Battery cleaning: Check whether the battery connector is corroded, clean the battery connector, and ensure the stable operation of the electrical system.

Wire and cable inspection: Regularly check whether the insulation layer of the wire and cable is aged or damaged to avoid short circuits or electrical failures.

Prevent overload and reasonable operation

Under high temperature conditions in summer, try to avoid overloading when the blasting drill is working. Overload will cause the equipment to overheat and accelerate the wear of parts.

Reasonably arrange the work cycle: In hot weather, try to avoid continuous long-term operation, take appropriate rest, and cool down the machine.

Regular shutdown inspection: Stop the machine regularly during work, check and cool down the equipment to ensure that the equipment is in good condition.

Pay attention to equipment storage

When the drilling rig is not in use, the equipment should be parked in a cool and ventilated place to avoid exposure to sunlight and reduce the risk of overheating of the equipment.

Through these summer maintenance measures, the service life of the blasting drill can be effectively extended, its stable working state can be maintained, and the production task can be successfully completed.
