Pre-Power-On Preparation: Lay a Solid Foundation for Detection
First, check the device: ensure the probe, screen and charging port are intact. Press and hold the power button for 3s to turn it on, then wait for system self-check. Choose a flat, unobstructed spot, avoiding high-voltage lines and metal pipes. Place the probe steadily on the ground, pressing gently for tight contact to avoid data errors.
Parameter Presetting: Adapt to Scenario Requirements
Tap “Settings” on the 10.1-inch touchscreen and select the depth range per your detection goal. Use MN mode for fresh water, TT mode for complex geology or salt water. Basic algorithms are default; check “Water Quality Identification” and “Aquifer Analysis” for precision. Tap “Confirm” to start detection.
Mobile Detection: Accurately Capture Signals
Hold the device handle with two hands, keep the probe at a steady height above ground, and move at 0.5m/s. Widen screen signal bars and faster beeps mean nearby water. Slow down, detect locally back and forth, locate the strongest signal and mark it. Avoid violent shaking to prevent probe deviation.
Data Interpretation: Locate High-Quality Water Sources
Stop moving, the device auto-generates 2D/3D images and curve data. On-screen blue areas (darker = more water) mark water sources; curve peaks show aquifer thickness, numbers mark depth. Tap “Analyze” for water quality and reserve assessment. Save data directly or sync to phones/computers via the same account.
Shutdown and Storage: Extend Device Lifespan
Post-detection, tap “Shutdown” on the screen; release the power button only when prompted “Safely Shutdown”. Wipe probe mud with a dry soft cloth. Store the device and accessories in the protective case to prevent damage. Back up data; fully charge before long-term storage and recharge every 3 months.
